In addition to roles and responsibilities as a principal, she has led educator growth and innovation serving as an MSOE MBA in Education Leadership clinical practice coach for seven cohorts, board member of the Principal’s Center at Cardinal Stritch University and protagonist for the Harvard MBA in Education Leadership program.

"(It's a) surprise because there's so many amazing principals in this state as well as the country," Trawicki said. "I don't think this is an honor that you ever expect to be given. So to be given this, knowing, as I said, I'm doing something I love to do every day, so I don't see this as something that's hard, something I ever don't want to do. It's what I love to do. I come here happy to do it.
